Installing a exhaust considerable benefits are achieved, including: the sound becomes more sporty, the aesthetics of the motorbike are clearly improved, engine performance is increased, the weight of the motorbike is reduced (it therefore becomes more agile and lighter) and the heat from the exhaust system is reduced thanks to the greater speed with which the exhaust gases flow outwards.

All models are approved for use on public roads throughout Europe and Switzerland (the certificate is included) and the mufflers are fitted with db killers. Customers who want a less sporty sound can opt for the No-Noise db killer version (optional), which uses an internal metal mesh to further reduce the sound.

If it is possible to add the catalyst as an option, we recommend that you purchase it so that you receive dual approval for road use (sound and exhaust emissions). Exhausts without a catalytic converter are only approved in terms of sound. If you do not find this option in the product sheets, it means that you do not need to purchase it (you keep the original one or your bike is pre-2003).

It is not mandatory to remap the ECU or install an additional module. The Roadsitalia exhaust can be installed and used without this type of modification. More demanding customers wishing to optimise engine delivery and obtain maximum power and torque may, however, consider this type of operation.

All models are supplied complete with a fitting kit and can be installed without the need for modifications: the original exhaust is removed and the new Roadsitalia exhaust is installed.
